Riddhi is an award-winning poet, journalist and researcher in Delhi. Their work focuses on disability justice, public health, gender, rights and development, climate and culture.
They write and lead longreads series, Sound, Fury & 4G on gender, tech and development at rural feminist mediahouse, Khabar Lahariya. Recently they were a Mental Health Reporting Fellow (2020-21). on Covid-19 and chronic psychiatric disability with data journalism site, IndiaSpend.
In 2020 they were awarded the TFA Award for Creative Writing for their poetry. Their work has been shortlisted for the 2021 Wasafiri New Writing Prize, the 2021 Commonwealth Short Story Prize, the 2020 Himal Short Story Prize and the 2019 TFA Award.
Riddhi is working on their first book — a work of climate fiction with queer and speculative elements.
